What Can I Do?

Would you like to make a difference? do something significant for the environment?...
Become a  volunteer: We are looking for people who are concerned about the environment to give a hand:  as a member of the Board, or by participating in other  activities, such as :

- onsite visits
- communications
- liaison with other groups
- researching funding possibilities
- organizing community events.

Garage sale: Every year, ACNSS helps to organize and participates in a community garage sale. We are pleased to accept donations of books, furniture, tools, antiques - all kinds of things that could be given a second life. These articles are sold and the profits go to ACNSS. These donations and your attendance and participation are also forms of help for which we are very grateful.

Become a donor
  • Make a donation to the Association de conservation de la nature de Stukely-Sud
  • Make a donation in memory or on behalf of someone... someone you love, someone who is very concerned about the natural environment
c/o Gary Richards, president, ACNSS, 165 chemin de la Diligence, Stukely-Sud, QC J0E 2J0

We are a recognized environmental charity (Canada Revenue Agency) and can issue a tax receipt.
It is also possible to make a gift online, by visiting the site CanaDon.org, a site that brings together donors and charitable groups.

Other types of donations can be made, either during your lifetime or after your death, including making a bequest or donating assets, such as shares or insurance or retirement. For more information, visit the site of Give Green Canada, and explore the more than 200 ways of becoming a donor.

Note: ACNSS has created an endowment fund within the Eastern Townships Community Foundation. This fund will be used to continue the association's conservation activities  and to protect in perpetuity properties acquired by the Association de Conservation de la nature de Stukely-Sud. Right now, every year, the Board takes a portion of the revenues of the year and invests it in ACNSS's account within the Foundation. The Foundation manages the money, and eventually Board will be able to use the returns on this invested capital for conservation activities.
